Daxxify may be an option if you are an adult with moderate to severe frown lines caused by repeated muscle movement. You should be in good general health and have realistic expectations about what a neurotoxin can change.

Some patients come in asking for Daxxify by name. Others know they want to soften their frown lines but have no preference between Daxxify, Botox, and Dysport. Either is a good place to begin. Your injector will evaluate your face and explain the options before creating a treatment plan.

You should not receive Daxxify if you have an infection at the injection site or a known allergy to Daxxify, one of its ingredients, or another botulinum toxin product. Tell your provider about any neuromuscular condition, existing muscle weakness, previous reaction to a neurotoxin, difficulty swallowing or breathing, facial surgery, drooping eyelids, or medications that could affect treatment.

Daxxify is not recommended during pregnancy. If you are breastfeeding or planning a pregnancy, speak with your provider before scheduling treatment.
