More Ways to Pay
A good treatment plan should come with a clear way to pay for it. Scout Aesthetics offers several options for Louisville patients, including Cherry payment plans, HSA and FSA payments for qualifying medical expenses, and memberships that turn each monthly payment into account credit. Our team can explain how each option works and help you find the one that fits your treatment plan.
Pay Over Time
Cherry gives approved patients a way to divide the cost of treatment into smaller monthly payments. The application takes just a few minutes and uses a soft credit check, so applying does not affect your credit score.
There is no hard credit inquiry. You can apply before your appointment or complete the application at Scout when you come in for treatment. This gives you time to review your options before committing to a plan.
Payment options available through Scout may allow you to divide one larger treatment cost into three or six monthly payments. Scout’s short-term, no-interest options don’t add interest or fees to the original treatment cost. Available plans are based on approval and the terms shown in your Cherry application, so review the full agreement before accepting an offer.
Scout Aesthetics accepts Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account payments for services and products that qualify as medical expenses under the patient’s plan.
HSA and FSA funds can be used for care connected to the diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of a medical condition. Treatments performed for cosmetic reasons alone are usually excluded. The same service may qualify for one patient and not another based on the reason it was recommended, the documentation available, and the rules of the patient’s plan.
Your HSA or FSA administrator makes the final decision about eligibility. Scout can accept the payment method and provide an itemized receipt, but we cannot guarantee that a charge will be approved or reimbursed by your plan.
What May Qualify
The following Scout services may qualify when they’re part of a treatment plan for a diagnosed or qualifying medical concern.
Acne Bootcamp services may qualify when they’re used to evaluate or treat acne. Products recommended as part of an acne treatment plan may also qualify if they meet the rules of your account.
Laser treatment may qualify when it addresses a medical skin concern rather than appearance alone. This could include care for acne-related concerns, certain forms of redness, or another documented skin condition.
Laser hair removal is excluded from Scout’s HSA/FSA categories.
Chemical peels and VI Peel treatments may qualify when a provider recommends them as part of care for acne or another qualifying skin condition. A peel performed for general brightening or cosmetic maintenance may not qualify.
Microneedling may qualify when it is used to treat acne scarring or another documented skin concern. Microneedling performed for general rejuvenation may fall outside your plan’s eligible expenses.
Neurotoxin treatment may qualify when it’s used for a medical concern such as:
Botox, Dysport, Daxxify, or another neurotoxin used for cosmetic fine lines and wrinkles isn’t usually considered an eligible medical expense.
A consultation may qualify when its purpose is to evaluate a medical concern or create a medically indicated treatment plan. A consultation focused on cosmetic enhancement alone may not qualify.
Subcision may qualify when it’s used to treat acne scars or another qualifying form of scarring.
Some skincare and treatment-support products may qualify when their main purpose is treating or preventing a medical condition. This may include certain acne products, post-procedure care, or sun-protection products required as part of a medical treatment plan.
General skincare, cosmetics, and products purchased for appearance or routine maintenance may not qualify. Check with your plan administrator before using HSA or FSA funds for a retail purchase.
Keep Your Records
Scout can provide a detailed receipt showing the service or product purchased. Your HSA or FSA administrator may also ask for a letter of medical necessity or other documentation from a healthcare provider.

Packages and Bundled Care
A package may qualify when each included service is being used for an eligible medical purpose. If a package contains both qualifying and cosmetic services, Scout may need to separate the charges so HSA or FSA funds are used for the eligible portion. Some plans have additional rules for packages purchased before all services are provided. Check with your plan administrator before using HSA or FSA funds to prepay for a series of treatments.
Bank Your Bucks
A Scout membership offers another way to plan for ongoing treatments and skincare. Every dollar of your membership payment stays in your Scout account as credit. If you do not use the full amount that month, you do not lose it. The unused credit rolls into the next month, giving you the freedom to save toward the treatments or products you want.
Memberships also include savings on select services and retail products, along with complimentary treatments and birthday perks. Benefits depend on the membership level you choose. Memberships are a budgeting and savings option rather than a financing plan. HSA and FSA eligibility is based on the specific treatment or product being purchased, not membership status.
We’re Here to Help
You don't need to sort through every payment option on your own. The Scout Aesthetics team can explain the Cherry process, provide receipts for HSA or FSA purchases, and walk you through the benefits of a Scout membership. For questions before your appointment, call Scout Aesthetics. You can also apply for Cherry in advance or speak with the team when you arrive.
No. Cherry uses a soft credit check during the application process. Applying doesn’t affect your credit score, and there’s no hard credit inquiry.
Yes. You can complete the application before your visit and review your available payment plans ahead of time. You can also apply at Scout on the day of your service.
Scout’s available short-term options may allow approved patients to divide the original treatment cost into three or six monthly payments without added interest or fees. Review the terms shown in your application, since available offers depend on approval.
Treatments performed for appearance alone are usually not eligible. A service may qualify when it’s used to diagnose, treat, or prevent a medical condition and meets your plan’s rules.
No product should be assumed eligible based on where it is sold. Products used as part of care for acne or another qualifying medical condition may be eligible. General skincare and cosmetic products may not be.
Scout can explain how a service is being used and provide an itemized receipt. Your HSA or FSA administrator makes the final eligibility decision.
Your unused account credit rolls into the next month. This “bank your bucks” structure lets you save your balance toward future Scout treatments or products.
